About Talking Care

Talking Care is founded with the goal of thoughtful and disruptive Innovation & Improvement in Health & Social Care.

Our goal is to provide products, tools and services that meaningfully benefit Health & Social Care and contribute to a net positive culture of innovation and integrity in the sector.

Talking Care Navigator

Our first product, Talking Care Navigator, is free to all, forever.

It’s the first freely available AI assistant aimed at supporting Adult Social Care professionals in England specifically. Updates regarding the rest of the UK to follow.

We want there to be no barriers to high quality information and enhanced digital support for front line staff in 2025 and beyond.

Talking Care Navigator references hundreds of pieces of relevant legislation and guidance documents from the UK Government, CQC, NICE, NHS, RRN, SCIE and many more from its dedicated knowledge base. Talking Care Navigator will always refer to legislation first, before searching the internet, and will always tell you where it’s answers have come from.

This means that you can be confident in using AI to support your practice, safe in the knowledge that the responses are grounded in reality and without accidental guesswork, made up citations or the use of unverified sources.

Talking Care Navigator will also not store or share any personal or sensitive information with OpenAI (our service is powered by Chat GPT4) or any other parties.

Soon Talking Care Navigator will be available to integrate into all organisations, for free, forever.

What’s next?

We are interested in disruption and innovation in the sector, so where there are ways to do this - Talking Care will be there.

With regards to our first product (Talking Care Navigator), there are a lot of similar tools just waiting to be developed.

The applications for AI-powered guidance in conjunction with a document library are endless and could include….

  • Improvements in analytics and data management
Raw data and reports turned into useful information to aid decision making

  • Interactive Policy or Document Libraries
Ask questions to the library and receive responses in line with organisational stance and tone - can enhance frontline support especially out of hours

  • Accessibility improvements
Support to summarise documents, create new formats including easy-read and addition of symbols

  • Q&A resources for family members
Support functions so family members can ask questions about your service 24/7 and get responses based on your policies/brochure/documents

    ….and so much more.
